Synopsis BEYOND THE WATERS
Director: Liviu Mărghidan
Five teenagers, passionate about diving, have created a small clandestine business: they collect remains from the sea (coins, amphorae, ceramic pieces, etc.), from the area of a sunken city (ancient Callatis) and sell them online, with the main objective of purchasing the parts needed to build a mini-submarine
During a transaction, an anonymous customer buys all of their goods, but requests that the delivery take place somewhere underwater.
Following the given coordinates, the five discover an underwater portal through which they travel through time and arrive in a post-apocalyptic world (after a nuclear attack).
He learns the details of the disasters that led to the atomic conflagration through a diary and understands, deciphering various codes, that he must return to the “present” to prevent the attack and its apocalyptic consequences.
