SYNOPSIS

Toni and Simina are two lonely souls who meet while traveling. Their paths cross in a supermarket parking lot, where they connect and decide to continue their journey together. The Jackal’s Grind is a film – a love story, set during a journey made together by two lonely people. Toni and Simina are single, both over 50 years old. Toni, carrying a sailboat, and Simina, on a bicycle, meet by chance in a picturesque area of the Carpathian Mountains. They decide to continue the journey together, through the Danube Delta. Toni visits his friend Oake, a fisherman who lives in a wild place on the Black Sea coast. Once there, Toni and Simina deal with the effects of Oake’s depression. Oake acts as a kind of litmus test, showing them that they must change if they want to stay together.
